Dear Parents/Guardians,
By now I am sure many of you will have heard the announcement that all schools in Wales will move to online learning until at least the 18th of January 2021. Online learning for your child at Gwersyllt CP will have commenced today with your child’s class teacher making work available for them using a variety of platforms.
After Kirsty Williams’ announcement late last night the school will be making further arrangements for keyworker pupils where there is no other options of childcare.
As last year and in order to reduce the amount of people on site at any one time we will return to working as a Key Worker Bubble. Pupils will have access to the Blended Learning resources.
The advice to parents remains that if they are working from home or there is any other method of childcare available to them, their children should not come to school as they are safer at home and this limits the chance of the virus spreading in our communities.
Please contact the school if no other provision is available to book a place. We request that all bookings are made by 2pm on Thursday 7th January for the following week so that we can organise staffing numbers on site.
Many thanks,
Mr J Moore
